Son of Sardaar 

Son of Sardaar, also known with the name of SOS, is an upcoming Bollywood Romantic drama film directed by Ashwni Dhir a remake Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna directed by S. S. Rajamouli, which in itself is a remake of the 1923 American silent movie Our Hospitality starring Buster Keaton and Natalie Talmadge. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Longtime associate and Ace cinematographer Aseem Bajaj is handling the camera once again for Dhir. The Son of Sardaar is scheduled for release on 13 November 2012; hence competing against Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Recently Himesh Reshammiya was roped in to compose the music along with lyricist Sameer Anjaan.

Casting

Earlier, reports suggested that actress Sonam Kapoor was chosen as the female lead of the film, although she dropped out and was later replaced by actress Sonakshi Sinha.

Music of the film is composed by Himesh Reshammiya,Sajid-Wajid and Sandeep Chowta and the lyrics are penned by Sameer Anjaan,Shabbir Ahmed and Irshad Kamil.

Ajay Devgn will be having a tough time this Diwali, battling against Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, here's the new gossip for you all. If reports are to be believed, Ajay's film Son Of Sardar will be receiving SRK's arch rival Salman Khan's midas touch.

According to the reports by one of the websites, Salman Khan has done an item song in the movie Son Of Sardar (SOS). The image below is a still from the item number. The track will also feature Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt.
